How to investigate

All the facts you need are in the file. No hidden rules, no guessing who is lying.

  1. Read the case

Check the public rules, time and people first. Every evidence record is reliable.

  2. Connect the clues

Open records for a closer look. Mark unknown, ruled out or possible in your notebook; the notes are yours to judge.

  3. Check your answer

Choose the person who fits every clue. Try again after a wrong answer, or read the full explanation when you solve it.

Before you investigate

What are the three difficulty levels?

Starter uses straightforward elimination. Intermediate combines records and ordering. Expert asks you to follow several connected deductions. All levels are available from the start.

How many cases can I play?

The main library contains 15 cases across three levels. New cases can be added without resetting your existing progress.

Is there a time limit?

No. Starter targets 1-3 minutes, Intermediate 3-5 and Expert 5-8. These are design estimates, not measured averages. Take as long as you need.

Where is my progress saved?

Your answers, notes, hints and solved cases stay in this browser when local storage is available. They do not sync between devices. You can clear them in settings.

Can I replay a case?

Yes. Open a solved case and choose Investigate again. Your completion record remains while the new attempt starts with fresh notes and hints.
